This client is a Republican Lobbyist working in Oklahoma City. He requested a logo that would look professional and communicate his business effectively. The proposed solution focuses on an elephant which is the mascot for the Republican party.

The typeface is a slab serif which communicates a sense of professionalism. This particular typeface was chosen because of its unique presence and the terminals reminded me of waving flags. Associates is set in a round typeface to match the eyes of the elephant illustration as well as offer visual contrast to the typeface used in Capital City. The elephant was inspired by the front of the capital building; Imagine a dome on the top of the elephant to see the resemblance.

The trunk of the elephant merges with the typography creating a unified and cohesive unit. The color red was used for its association with the Republican party as well as its ties to power and strength.
